Having grown-up and worked with Hayden since she was 7 (and in 7 films) and being almost like an uncle to her and I’m close to her family, when ‘The Harrowing’ came around and the role of Ella was up, I needed….Hayden was one of the best natural actress I’ve met. In ‘The Harrowing’ she has an implied nudity scene and that was a strange conversation to have with her having grown up with her [laughs]. She trusts me and I trust and respect her. She’s an adult now. Going to be taking on adult roles. She’s going to be taking on more mature roles. Things like that going to come up.
When Jon called me up, he was like “I’ve this role for you but I’ve warned you its pretty adult role.”
“It was bit awkward just because of the content and I’ve to be naked but that’s why I admire Jon so much. He makes the cast feel so comfortable in any scene. I thought it would be awkward since I’ve known him since I was little but when I was on set, I didn’t feel awkward at all.”
