Erin Schaut (September 27): Mark your calendars! Tell Me a Story Season 2 premieres December 5th and you might see a familiar butt! Oh oops FACE I meant FACE. (But maybe butt too 😂)

Erin Schaut (October 17): 🌟A HUMP DAY REMINDER🌟 That even when the going gets tough, there is reason to celebrate. David Martin took this photo the night we went out to celebrate me receiving my first check for a TV show. It came the day before rent was due, at the exact perfect time. Im posting this to remind myself that I’ve had really big wins this year and even if I’m not feeling my best at the moment, even though challenges have risen, I’ve had the gift of experiencing pure bliss and there are unlimited blissful and joyous moments in my future, and yours too! There are more great experiences ahead and I have so much to be grateful for…like the boy who took this pic 😘. And remember, there’s always someone rooting for you and if I know you, I AM ROOTING FOR YOU!

Erin Schaut (October 22): 🌟Feels so good to have my stride back!🌟 This summer I shot a TV show that required nudity. Nudity I’m fine with, but I had no idea how triggering to my body dysmorphia it would be for me. For nearly a month leading up to the shoot, I would use the stairmaster for an hour, then lift for an hour. I thought I was crushing it…but the day of the shoot came and I felt like I had made zero progress. I STILL didn’t like how I looked while I stood in my amazing trailer. I didn’t eat breakfast that day and was heartbroken when we broke for lunch before my nude scene. Were they crazy?! I COULDNT EAT BEFORE THAT SCENE! I nibbled on my food and went to my trailer to do some last minute crunches, I practiced how I would sit in the mirror to make sure my stomach looked ok…not exactly the best headspace to be in. Everything else about that day was so perfect…besides how I felt about my body…even though I had spent HOURS working on it.🌟For about two months following this shoot, I lost all motivation to go to the gym. I felt like I had exhausted myself for that shoot for no reason. “What’s the point?” I thought, “This shit doesn’t work for me”. The thing about body dysmorphia is, you can be wearing a size 2 and still feel “too big”. Recently a wardrobe designer called me and asked “Ok but are you REALLY a size 2 to 4?” Do you know how scared I was to go to that shoot? She didn’t mean offense, she was just doing her job, but I took it SO PERSONALLY. SO I’ve spent the last couple months turning inward, learning about my triggers, working on my #selflove and developing a workout regimen that is enjoyable, challenging, fun and most of all makes me feel good! Some days are better than others…but today is a good day. So I’m celebrating with this post and hope my story helps at least one person out there be a little more gentle on themselves. Spreading love and light to all of you 🌟🙏🏼🌟 You are perfect EXACTLY the way you are
